The Expendables looks great, putting all that talent on-screen may or may not work, but it's something we've never seen before.

The other two could be good, but it's hard to tell. There's really nothing that seperates either film from any other action film made in the last 20 years. That doesn't mean they'll be bad, a clean, pacy script, some fun one-liners and a few good actions scenes are more important than a gimmick, but it doesn't mean they'll be good either.
