@FITZZ - oh, 'arsehole' doesn't necessarily mean 'bad' to me. It just means kind of arrogant and snide.

I get the impression ShumaGorath is a 'cat person'.

Did they die or lived? Did chiisa really ended up been that powerful or was shuichi was that his last imagination before he died?

did everyone on earth die?

Because it says its the "Last Love Song on this Planet"

Everyone except Shuji dies, he's stuck in some kind of limbo between death and life, with only Chise's soul that speaks in kanji to speak with him, the ending was really fethed. But honestly, the road to it was far worse, especially the part when their happily living together for a bit. Or the earthquake...

Also, saddest sex scene, ever.

AHHHHHH its traumatizing , especially the one in the mall where the soldier looked like shuichi.

I have never been so confused in my life watching that part.

What made it worse was that the soldier was Shuji's teacher's Husband.... this is starting to sound an awful lot like a soap series. XD

That's some pretty tiny writing there.

Dad's Tribute: Call of Duty on Soldier Son's Grave

"Touching? Whether a man and his son enjoy kicking a football or playing a video game together, who's to judge. But there is a helpless irony in seeing Call of Duty left on the grave of a fallen soldier.

In Wales, the 200th U.K. soldier to die in the Afghanistan conflict was memorialized this weekend. Pvt. Richard Hunt would have been 22 today, Hundreds came to pay their respects.

His father Phillip, enjoyed playing Call of Duty: World at War with his son. He left a copy of the game at his grave (along with a wreath and many other memorials). It bore the note: "Happy Birthday 'Hunty'. Play you again one day. Dad.""

I can't stand it. ANYTHING that has even a feel good ending and I tear up. For example, Homeward Bound. Watched that today and at the end had me tearing up. Not crying of course. That's not manly.

But dangit.

I watched Gran Torino first up, then I watched Tess of the d'Urbervilles. It was like a tragedy tag-team. At the end of the night I was singing Irish songs and bawling my eyes out at by the time I finished and moped off to bed.

On reflection, I don't think Gran Torino is what you'd call a tragedy, although it did a kick-in-the-gut moment or two. A feel-good ending though.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles is definitely a tragedy though. That whole thing was basically a kick in the guts, a quick kiss or two, and then a knee in the balls. So, basically Cheese's idea of a good time.

Just a few things:

- The ending of the 6th Harry Potter. The scene where they're all raising their wands in mourning of Dumbledore just really got to me...

- Anything involving puppies or kitties getting hurt.

- I cried when Sasori died in Naruto. After you hear so much about his backstory, growing up with no-one to love him, ending in him becoming an emotionless monster, it's just really sad, especially since his "parents" kill him.

- The scene in Star Wars: RotS where Anakin gets burned alive really got to me (I know I'll get alot of rage from this, but I thought that scene made the movie).

- Hearing the song "If It Means a Lot to You". That song is totally the story of my first really deep relationship with a girl, and how it came crashing down.

Doctor Who had a lot of tearjerking endings. The one where the Face of Boe died almost made me cry, the entire "Turn Left" episode was depressing as hell, and the end of The Waters of Mars made me tear up when they showed the various articles of the scientist. Oh, and the finale of Series 2 (When Rose left the Doctor) was a really sad ending.

Let's see...
Grave of the Fireflies did it for me - it's such a depressing movie.
Spock's death and funeral at the end of Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan
The Midnighters Trilogy (Just the ending of the last book, mind you).
Spoiler:
Basically, the main character is forever trapped in the Secret Hour, a 25th hour of the day compressed into a single moment

Heroes -
Spoiler:
Near the end of Season 4, Hiro discovers that the love of his life was sent back in time and grew up without him, having a family and grandkids and living out a happy life without him. Despite his time traveling abilities, he realizes that he can't destroy the lives that were created because she was sent back

The first Metal Gear Solid game also gave a few really sad moments, mainly when bosses died. (Sniper Wolf especially, though Psycho Mantis' was pretty powerful) The most powerful one of all for me, however, was the ending cutscene of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
Spoiler:
The player finds out that the Boss was, in reality, loyal to the very end - but had to be branded one of the worst traitors in the world in order to save her country. When Big Boss goes to her grave and gives her one last salute, I always get a little teary-eyed.

Well, when I was little, I was never able to watch the bit in The Phantom menace where Qui-gon died, because I always used to burst out crying. It was probably because he reminded me of one of my grandad's who died when I was little.
Nowadays, it doesn't really make me sad per se, but the scene in Return of the king when Theoden makes his speech to his warriors and they charge down the hill towards the orcs, with Theoden and Snowmane still leading the charge never fails to move me to tears-Now thats a king!

Cheese Elemental wrote:Oh! The ending of the David Tennant seasons of Doctor Who.
