enemy tank commander driving down a path in a wood looking for enemies: "ah, nothing here, move a bit forward, nah nothing here, a bit for-OH MY GOD! 4 white wheels unattached and in perfect symmetry............

GHOSTS!!!!!!!! ARGHHH!!!!!
half a mile away his colleagues see the commander in full reverse out of the wood screaming and hollering, and begin a mexican wave of facepalms........

anyway i was wondering if you make the camo any smaller than how they are on many pics so that it doesnt look like it his made out of giant lego blocks.... with a paintbrush

Masking tape
and a LOT of patience

Possibly you could cut rectangles out of friskit or Tamiya tape
It would be tricky as someone mentioned going over bumpy sticky out bits

Personally I don't see digicam on Imperium stuff
far too tech associated and heretical
Might look good on Tau and possinly easier to apply- no rivits for one thing

I strongly believe that painting digital camo in 28mm minis is clearly out of the question. Personally prefer a more "classical" approach in the camo patters.
Recently I discovered http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M90_(camouflage) which is quite easy to implement both on minis and vehicles.

Astra Militarum
Iron Warriors Army: Enyo Company
Enyo (Greek: Ενυώ, English translation: "warlike" in Greek mythology; Roman: Bellona), was an ancient goddess of war, acting as a counterpart and companion to the war god Ares. She is also identified as his sister, and daughter of Zeus and Hera in a role closely resembling that of Eris; with Homer in particular representing the two as the same goddess. As goddess of war, Enyo is responsible for orchestrating the destruction of cities

Sorry I if misunderstood- I was referring to vehicle camo.
the pixels on uniforms are too small imho for 28mm figs but a block camo could be devised, but very difficult.

I get the reason for salt technique as a possibilty now
again I was thinking vehicles not uniforms.

I also felt as if digital camo was a bit too much for a lonely guardsmen to have. If it were done properly, it would have to go to a catchan scout or an elysian.

Also, I don't feel as if the digicam is efective on vehicles. From what I read, the pixels have to be pretty small to function properly, otherwise you tank looks like a lego mobile.

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".
