We are putting the strom raven back on the tabel to work on some of the ideas you all had and clean it up a bit, we are changing the front to get rid of the land raider look. For those of you that have sent me private message on the beating we took over this conversion and are worried to post your stuff on here Please post them anyhow I personaly would love to see it. You can get some good ideas from peoples conversions. Don't let a few bad eggs get you down.

Its certainly one of the best ive seen

I have some issues with it, but I do think you've managed to get more of a 'Space Marine look' to it (as aposed to a an imperial guard look) thanmany of the other Stormraven conversions I have seen.

Hello all, i am new to the dakka dakka but have been active on wargamerau (aussie forum)

Woah guys, let's mellow. Come on now, let's all just go out for some sirloin sliders, maybe play some 40k, or just hang out and watch a movie. You guys forget, this is a game where you can drop 300 something ton tanks from an airplane.

An airplane which I doubt could actually fly in the real world. Whether you get your opinion in or not, it's still a pretty cool model. Because either way, if you don't like a giant tank with wings attacking you, then why are you playing 40k?


Look at the regular models being made now. The sanguinary guard have nipples on their armor! This isn't exactly a game of realistic properties. I like the model though

Check out the date when somebody posted something offensive. People have calmed down

I don't think anyone questioned the realism of the thing, as pretty much all flyers made by GW are horrible in that department, but more the astetics of the conversion.


@thetezza: I like it, one thing that bugs me, is the top-mounted heavy bolter. I think it would look better in an underslung position
