If I was shopping for lower turnout I'd probably be better off driving to Maine, but a) I don't care THAT much, and b) I am lazy. So my FLGS here in NH it shall be.

You realize there is one in the north jersey area, right? Its being run by Time Warp Comics and Games (although IIRC they are getting a convention hall for the semi-finals).

I'm going to Battleground games in Massachusetts. Never been there before, but it's the closest venue to my stomping grounds. I'm taking the battlewagon!

Cool. Im hoping he didnt have time to update it or something. I love the idea of a bunch of great players coming down here and letting us all see how we measure up. This will be a couple of our guys first semi big tournament, including me. I plan on finishing somewhere between last and dead last.

wow are you in for a surprise.
Funny story though.
I play heroclix, and have been to a bunch of their big tourneys (Nationals and Worlds). In 2008 I placed 6th at Worlds. Before and after that tournament I lost 90 percent of my games against a man named Mickey. Mickey had severe mental disabilities. He beat me all the time. It became so bad I just started calling him the 6th best player in the world.
I have faith you guys will come down here, and if your lucky enough to face me, get full points, an weird suspicion that you opponent may not be the sharpest knife in the crayon box.

Perhaps I overstated my case, because it's more like a trukk than a battlewagon. Either way, it's ramshackle. Here's an exchange from the debate with my friends on whether to take the battlewagon or not:
Friend #1: "Let's take the battlewagon!"
Friend #2: (thoughtful pause) "Do you want me to follow in a real car?"
Let's just say that if we get into an accident we're probably scattering 24" in a random direction.
