I am playing Red Dead Redemption at the moment -- though I did play a lot of split screen Special Ops for Modern Warfare 2 this weekend when a friend was visiting.

Been on the fence on that game. I want it, I really do, but I hate fighting games as a rule.

You could only hope. Personally I'm looking for a copy of Conker's Bad Fur Day on the N64 that costs less than 75 dollars.

Wow, that much? Hard to believe, although I guess if it's OOP now...

I love being able to gloat over people how I got my N64 + games...I bought them when they were new.

What's so gloat worthy about an N64..?

I have a dreamcast

An Atari is in my dresser, I just never play it anymore

I am looking at a Mega Drive right now.
Thinking of playing that.

Mainly the fact that I personally know precisely 3 people who own a Nintendo 64 that bought it when it came out (and one of the three I only know from the interweb). Always interesting to hear some of my friends wanting old games for nostalgia purposes - and having seen some of the prices for such games, I can safely say that I personally spent no more than $40 for every N64 game I own.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

It's a relatively rare title, they did a censored remake for the x-box, but that was also released in very limited number.

There are some cheaper copies, but personally I want one that I know will work. I remember playing it when I was a wee 9 years old. Remember a cheat code for it too.

BEEFCURTAINS got you zombie characters in multiplayer.

Still have goldeneye, army men sarge's heroes, DK 64, QB club 99 and 2000, ridge racer 64, mario 64, etc. Goldeneye's are a dime a dozen though.

Blast Corp is another one I'm looking for.

Damn, now I have to go to the local used game store to see what they have in terms of N64 games. Last time I checked no conker's bad fur day, but four stacks of goldeneye.

I'm playing Ocarina of Time again.

I'm up to the part just before getting the Blue Tunic. I'm really avoiding it. Like, 100%ing the Well and becoming a member of the Gerudo's avoding it. I can't beat 50 sec in the obstacle course, I match 50, but not beat it. I swear, Link set the record 7 years ago before leaving Hyrule in the first place!

Really? Most people I know used to have one (lot of them sold them though) but they weren't that uncommon here. Strange.

I'm the only guy I know though with a Dreamcast

I couldn't play that game. I got to the first boss and the game lost my entire 8 year old attention span. But dreamcasts were easy to find down here. Right now, I'm the only in my neighborhood with a N64.

Hell, I gave away my SNES but I still have a copy of "Metal Marines" and the old gameboy cartridge thing that allowed you to play gameboy games on the tv.

Why do you need an N64 when you can download practically everything good for that console from your Wii?

The Wii still doesnt have Star Wing (Star Fox to you yanky doodles) from the SNES. It is therefore a massive pile of Fail.

Also, why pay for a game again when you have it already?

I didn't say SNES, I said N64. No civilized home is without a SNES.

I have, then and now. When I played it recently I was rather disappointed.

I'm disappointed they don't have my favorite shooter for the N64 of all time, Jet Force Gemini (although I haven't checked in a while, so maybe they've added it). Although I do admit to have bought a few games that I already owned for the 64 - just bought Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask for the Wii.
