Hello all, my character upgrade FW bits arrived this weekend so I've been battling away over the last few days trying to do some scultping for my Captian to incorporate them into a unique model. Because I'm new to all this greenstuffing malarky, I've started off small and tried to do a few little things like wreaths, rope etc...

I like the look of some of the Sanguinary Guard armour and thought I'd have a bash at a breastplate. I'm also in the process of scultping an eagle-themed shoulder pad which isn't going too badly (it's just to the left on the first image). Not too happy with the joints where I've chopped and changed the leg but I'm going to sort those out shortly.

Anyway, as always, your comments, crticism and advice are greatly appreciated.

So I've finished the sculpting and I've started painting the Captain up now. I'm pretty pleased by how he looks, especially how my sculpt of the eagle shoulder pad went and I'm going to try and finish him this week. I've also started work on a techmarine/Iron father with a conversion beamer so once I've made a bit more progress with him I'll post some images. For now, here's the progress shots of the Captain.

All the best,

TSD
