Ryanair caters to the stag weekend market.

They don't serve businessmen, middle class families and long-haul destinations.

There are niches for BA to exist within, but not paying the salaries they are right now.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to fly to Australia on Ryanair. I flew to Spain on them once and the 'plane stank of gak.

A re-definition of taking the piss. It was the double-entendre that shamed Ryanair into reversing this idea.

Still Ryanair does a sterling job voluntarily deporting chavs for a few weeks each year, gives the rest of us a break from them.

$10 for a ticket. Dude thats like 3 days park and ride bus fair to work. I'd be down with that.

Yeah, it's $10 at first. Then you have to pay to bring any luggage (that includes hand Luggage), have to scramble onto the plane for a seat, have to walk along the runway to get to the plane (they don't pay the fees that let them dock up close to save money) and pay a surcharge if you don't use ONE SPECIFIC TYPE of credit card to pay for the ticket.

Thats nothing. Dude I take the bus.

I just checked the Ryanair website, assuming that I wanted to slum down in Loret de Mar outside Barcelona, a favourite hangout of chavs. Travelling prebooked from Gatwick would cost me £282 return.

Selecting the special fare option it would cost me £7 for the basic ticket, each way.

Really? That seems a bit much.

Glad to see they got rid of their Wheelchair Fee though.

Check it out, I tried a sample booking to Girona from Gatwick tomorrow returning a fortnight later.

Its just one sample fare though, others may well be better.

Well thats why then. "Tomorrow" is hardly "In Advance".

Book 8 Days later for the same 2 weeks and you have a €45 ticket Spain->Uk and a €30 UK to Spain.
