where they say that Ordnance MUST be mounted on vehicles?
do you count as rules this quote:
"Ordnance weapons are so huge and powerful that they cannot be physically carried by infantry, but must be mounted onto a vehicle or be built into the structure of a bunker or fortress."

? its not rule, its a description of that group of weapons.. its same if you say that sky is high, or oceans filled with water. moreover that line is just a "fluff" for ordnance weapons.

The rules no page 51 ONLY relate to vehicles, therefore that *restriction* on only firing one weapon does not apply to MCs firing Ordnance.

Are you guys seriously arguing about a nonexistant unittype and wargear combination?

This is the last time I will post on this thread and hopefully it will be locked soon.

My last post was meant to be ridiculous as we do not have any rules for how infantry(and by extension MC, who follow the infantry rules excepting where noted) fire Ordnance weapons; so I figured since we are making up rules as we go along why not just add up the benefits of all weapon types(Assault, rapid fire, and pistol).

We currently have 3 special rules for Infantry with Ordnance weapons: 1 Cannot move in order to fire but can then assault(Orbital bombardment), 1 Cannot move and we do not know if it can assault after firing(Artillery Bombardment), and 1 that is treated as Heavy in all respects(Shokk Attack Gun).

If GW does decide in the future to give a MC an Ordnance weapon(again) hopefully they will give us all the requisite special rules for how that weapon is fired.

And; I'm done

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

KK - except we do have rules for how they fire: as the weapon profile states. The additional rules are not necessary, as was pointed out.

Your belief that they are necessary is just that - belief, not actual.
