I have the Isabella fig and she's slighlty taller than stamdard GW models, but she just looks a little tall compared to an IG, but since Marines are about the same size she looks like 8ft tall

But with my renegade IG being led by a True scale fallen marine Isabella and now this chick will be his 2 ' Bodyguards ' and are in between him (about Termie height) and the standard IG guys.

GW really has a severe lack of female models, unless you play a whole army of girls that is

I'm so glad McVey is picking up the slack of making girls without them looking like Catholic dominatrices (GW ) or like some barbarian Julie Strain, like most other companies

Up your nose with a rubber hose.

I'm going to buy Y'Sala for my friend to use as her Elven character in her DnD campaign. Sadly she won't be playing anytime soon. (See below).

Absolutely fantastic. The pose is perfect.

See, Games Workshop (and Privateer Press, you should listen too) this is how to make a not-silly miniature. Which may confuse you, I know, because of that huge thing she's got strapped to her back. But she's not covered in skulls, she's got normal proportions, and she actually looks like a character with some personality. She doesn't have to be screaming or pointing- in fact, the figure is made all the more powerful in that she isn't doing anything at all. She just summoned that beefy daemon-thing... now she can just sit back and watch the fun.

The more I look at other companies' miniatures compared to the big gaming companies' ones, the more I get the feeling that GW's sculptors just don't care anymore. They're putting out models without feeling. They're figures that have to be made to fill out a release schedule. The love of the craft has died.

Beautiful stuff - but having just looked through the website and seeing the commission price (£150 per model) I'm having one of those 'I'm in the wrong line of work' moments...

While you sleep, they'll be waiting...

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?
