And thats a shame about the moulds, so hand me downs from ebay are my best bet? Or old fellas getting bored with their toys?

Same rules, different setting. All three from Mongoose Publishing.

Yeah, ebay, boot sales, conventions are going to be the best bet.

Just for the record the SST game is based around the animated series the "Roughneck Chronicles". The MI etc are modelled on this rather than the live action films and certainly not the original source. Hence the inclusion of skinnies and the mecha. If you plan to get it, get the US boxed set release has it has all the episodes made and in the correct order Note there was no climatic final episode the series was pulled.

For true MI, there was an original Japanese anime made of Starship Troopers that I am lucky enough to own. The story is changed somewhat but the MI do wear the Heinlien ape suits. Strangely though these do look identical to the Tau battlesuits GW produced years later, call the IP police (some gw design sketches appeared to be direct lifts from the concept artwork).

Skinnies were in the books. Half of the major battles in the book (so... one of them) are actually a land action against the Skinnies to dissuade them from supporting the bugs.

What I want to know is, are there any rules for things besides combat? Like maybe rules for sitting your minis behind desks and have them listen to lectures on civics? Because that's really the bulk of the authentic Starship Troopers experience.

Don't forget the basic training!
