As far as it being bad for both players... I could careless if it is bad for them. If I can take a losing situation and turn it into a draw I am happy. The fact that my opononent loses points is just that much better for me.

If the primary mission objective is tied, it goes to a secondary (like killpoints)... if thats tied, it goes to a tertiary objective, like table quarters. If THATS tied, I think it went to painting. SOMETHING to prevent draws.

At least according to novaopen primer missions if all 3 objectives were tied it goes back to VP and a difference of .5 being enough to win.

Also on topic, this is a legitimate tactic, and a that says you cant legally place objectives in c&c is a berk.

I understand now. Our only hope would have been to kill those pesky bikers...or get there sooner...or have them run away! Oh well. You live you learn.

Hopefully next time I play at a tourney they'll arrange the missions to be more decisive. I reckon that there were more draws in the entire tournament than there were wins and losses, simply because the battle missions weren't suited to tourney play and there wasn't enough time to play the final turns.

Stupid bikes with their stupid bases...... hmph.

To my knowledge, 3 games in that mission were not Draws. That was Table 3, and the bottom two. Admittedly, Michael and Simon won on Table 3 with half an hour to play, as well. :O
