I started to paint it. Dry brushed grey on the ground and painted the metal parts silver. Now I am going to wash the silver with badab black then make it a rusty colour.

Lookin good!!! Just one suggestion though, you should try to make more rubble piles out of old sprue rather then randomly broken sprue. Cut up the sprue in smaller chunks and mound it up for a more realistic look. Also have you worked with BLUE Foam?? You can make some really great rocks and rubble by cutting up "BLUE" insulation foam. It is really messy but the end result is worth it.

I'll use your idea about the sprue next time and yeah I have worked with blue foam before. Here are some of the things I have made with it. Isn't blue foam great!

Now all I need to do is paint the bitz in the craters and I'm done.
