Here are some WiP shots of the "rokkits", to help it "go fasta!" The original intent was that the rockets would burn the Squiggoth, thus it would go faster out of pain, not thrust. I find it an amusing concept and if any spots of skin are in the rocket burn areas, I will make it look like it.

As for the mods, I am doing my best (not a modeler by trade, just a painter!) and I think it is pretty decent. Going to add a few more rivets to some spots. Hopefully, I will be priming it tomorrow.

GOOG GOD, someone sent you two of those!!!! Great work btw at first the yellow threw me off a little but once I really looked at the model the overall depth and detail is really solid.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Thanks. Yea, the LGS Owner commissioned me for these two Squiggoths. Glad you like the yellow, it was fun to do, but stressful. It just doesn't coat for crap, so I struggled to keep the streaks out of it.

More shots. Really rough work-in-progress, but getting the skin and howdah underway.

Added some better shots of the skin and the metallics in the Howdah. Now that 'Ard Boyz is done, I will be putting a lot more time into this big beastie.

Then I can start on this!

That is a beast of a model. Careful with the whip.

More updates. Slow-going, but overall a fun model to paint. So freaking huge though! It is like handling a small dog.

Finally finished! The whole commission - Squiggoth and Gargantuan Squiggoth - only took me 4 1/2 months, give or take. Not bad, considering I was working on other commissions during that stretch. Thankfully, the client liked it and it is now on display at Hit Point Hobbies - right next to the Stompa I painted and sold to him, too. Anyhow, not too keen on this blog stuff, because I just can't update often enough. Nevertheless, hope folks enjoyed the meager bits I could manage.
