I've got my DKoK Grenadier army, my Pig Iron Kolony head Cadians, and now a buttload of these guys

Just got mine today. As stated above, they do not come with bases, but those are easy enough to get from a bitz retailer. Nice mins, slight mould lines. Very impressed.

also to be noted, the empty sprues can be stacked to make terrain. very happy with the quality.

Just a little update on my situation, since it is similarly related to the shipping incidents they had with the troopers: WGF is apparently having issues with their email; at least according to "Tony" who runs it. After 2 weeks without so much as notice of shipping on my single box of zombies or a single reply to multiple emails, I opened a paypal dispute to get their attention. Even that drastic action was ignored for a full week, and finally answered at about 9 AM EST this morning. He said that they were out of zombie boxes, and could either refund me or I could wait for him to get more sprues. I told him to refund me, because this way if he doesn't I can escalate it to a claim before it is too late.

I know 24 measly bucks doesn't seem like enough to get this worked up over, but I don't like being yanked around. I thought I would just let you guys know in case you have similar issues with WGF.

Man, I was going to buy some stuff from them but I think I'll not after hearing about the constant outages, misdirected shipments and other sundry problems. I hope they get their act together one day and I'll see about them then...

I received my shock troopers Monday. They even thru in an extra sprue because of the wait.

GW weapons are about the same size as the troopers, I gave a few plasma gunus and a couple of flamers.

With WGF you are better off waiting for a shop or Warstore to get them in.

I bet individuals are behind distributors when it comes to shipping stuff out.

QFT. I finally got a refund today, after 3 weeks of nothing. Apparently they are out of zombie sprues at the moment, and don't know when they'll be getting more. Don't buy direct from them, they'll screw you over.

Hey, first post.

I ordered their 7 box set last week, since it's pretty cheap. I haven't gotten any word on shipping yet, but I'm not in a super big hurry. I got on their forums and apparently they're having a lot of issues with shipping. Still, for less than a buck a miniature, I'll put up with a wait.

I've gotten my hands on these, and I'm a big fan. Not as detailed as GW guard, but MUCH cheaper and totally worth it, if you ask me. Only think I could ask for would be some different gun designs, but I can live with it. Also, having made a couple successful orders from WGF, I'm going to speak out in support of them. I ordered their Zulus directly from them, and got not only my order, but a sample of their Vikings as well. Some people may have had problems with them, but I have had nothing but positive interactions with them, so if you're considering an order I say go for it.

I placed my shock troop order exactly 20 days ago and still no email concerning shipping, I am starting to get a little impatient, I sent them an email asking about the situation, has anybody else had this problem?

Yup. Everybody has this problem when ordering direct from them.
DONT BUY DIRECT FROM THEM! Save yourself the Hassle!

Pig iron makes some heads that look very similar to the helgash from Killzone 1 and 2.

Oy Nick, I'm assuming you'll be fielding at least a full platoon? So you're going to need at least 43-regular troopers and 6-heavy weapons teams; more if you're building heavy platoons.

Wargames Factory We've been holding back on them - we want them to be awesome. Tim just completed one of our new fantasy sets and it is one of the most awesome things he's done EVAH. So we are psyched! Next week we will start to show some of our Shock Troop Heavy Weapons on our forums. We'll email everyone to let them know when we start. Heavy weapons teams and command sprues would make these figures a whole lot more exciting. Kneeling legs, prone figures and so on would have quite a bit of utility, and combined with bitz from GW and else where, would allow for nearly all positions in a full platoon to be made.

Well, just got an e-mail from Tony at WGF. Here's what he wrote.

"We're actually going to start showing work in progress shots of heavy weapons on the forums next week or the week after. Tim is wrapping up two other sets this week and next - and as long as that goes well we'll be right into them!"

Sounds like good news. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled on the forums for these guys!

Just so it doesn't seem like I'm unduly badmouthing WGF. As I opened my email to ask for a refund I noticed an email from Tony sitting in my junk box that said that my order had been shipped. This email was from the 16th of August and I'm happy to say that the miniatures arrived today, WGF even threw in 2 extra sprues as compensation for the delay (at least I hope it was for this reason and not just a mistake).

So now I have my Pig Iron heads all set and ready to go I can start assembling and converting these guys. I just hope that the heavy weapons don't take as long to get here!

I have had only excellent service from WGF so far. I live in Brazil, have ordered 6 times from them, never had any issue. I have received my shocktroopers recently; they are great miniatures. I have already assembled 36 with WGF bits only, and another 36 combined with Cadian and Catachan bits, with interesting results.
I can now have two quite distinct units, assembled from a single set and lots of leftover parts.
I always wanted an affordable IG army with greatcoats, similiar to the Death Corps. Unfortunately, GW only gives us more Space Marines.
