My vote is for entry number 3 because I love the sense of humor in it.

As for the second one it is just too busy for me. There was alot of work into that one but you can not focus on the action. The first one just doesn't do it for me.

Thank you for all that voted. I wish I could have gotten a better photo but there is something wrong with the focus. I am trying to think of an easy contest that would be great for everyone from beginners to pros.

I would say the better conversion won, but I think it was the better concept.

Now here is the contest topic I chose for the next MoM contest:

It is time to raid the clearence bins and bottom of the drawers. Best OOP single model that can be finished within the month. This can be 25mm, 40mm, 60mm, MC and vehicles. The only thing is that it has to be OOP and be built and painted within the month. The older the better.

For example one of the old blue or pink horrors, a first generation necron warrior for 3rd Ed, an old Eggy IG Sentinel. Get the picture. Almost all gamers have something OOP somewhere or can find something in a clearence bin or on Ebay. Almost anyone can finish a one mini on a 25mm base in a month.

Congrats Pipboy101, and good choice on next months subject. I really wanted to enter this one with a HUGE standoff, but alas, court dates and living arrangements conspired to stop me entering my rather ambitious project. OOP single mini should be much easier to enter, although I don't favour my chances as much, 'coz it'll be about painting rather than conversion.

I'm really tempted to find my old chaos dwarf special character (the one in the exo-suit, I forget his name) and strip that, but I also got given a metal tyranid warrior the other day. Decisions...

Think I might be entering this one, but where's the thread for "August"? Will it be for September? Has the contest officially started yet?

It has started. THe July and August seemed to have merged into one contest.
