I can undestand him supposed to be lookin messianic but the arms out in a jesus christ pose (soundgarden ref!). Maybe if he wasnt painted gold he would look good.....well maybe.

Well being painted gold doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the sculpt. The sculpting is really intricate on that fig.

I'm not a fan of Mephiston, the muscle armour just really makes me cringe. I don't like the model for Dante too, as his mask just looks like a blow-up doll.

Thats true. Dante is a great hero though. Even though he is dead. -.-

If we're taking only about the gw model and not any rules then the ork goff rocker are the best !

And my favourite forge world model is the great unclean one.

Well i agree its well sculpted, i couldnt do better my self. its personal preferance at the end of the day, i asked this so i could get opinions and see what folks think bout the models avalable. all the models people have so far said are the best are unique, even my own fav model being snikrot. As for the worst..well the priest with laspistol is.....crap lol.

Worst: those old Noise Marines with the electric guitars, Witch Hunter & Grey Knight Entourages look ridic. A lot of CSM look silly too, just too much flash on them.

Celestine would be a spectacular model if it weren't for the 1) silly look on her face and the 2) creepy cherubim holding up the cloth. Other than that, she looks absolutely awesome.

As for Abaddon, eh... top knots look silly, and his is the topknottiest. Paired with the bleached-white skin, I just can't like that model. The armor looks cool, but no cooler than your average CSM.

Personal favourite = Death Company or Sanguinary Guard.

Best Model: Shadow Seer. That model is fantastic. The whole Grey Knight range is incredible too.
Worst Model: The entire old tyranid range. The worst current model is that priest that has already been posted. Makes me so angry at GW that I want to go to their HQ and shout out "I remember the squats!"

worst in my opinion... well.... there's not just one, and never will be, def the fiend of slaanesh, and chaplain lemartes a.k.a scuba steve! if you could choose parts of a model then necron legs! if they changed those i'd be buying some but they all look like they've been riding horses for days! and some of the old static dark angels captains are way bad! but at least on a positive, GW are now making up for the past with some really nice plastic models.... although not fast enough for my liking! :-)

What about FW models? I think the Gigantic fortress looks awesome, but the Red Scorpion heads look like gas masks that a 3 year old made with one hand after being on a sugar high and being dropped on their heads repeatedly.

Yeah, filters are lovely sometimes. Got a buddy on another forum, name's UK-NightWatch. Whenever he's quoted, it ****'s out the letters between the H in "night" and the C in "watch."
