I prefer a bad movie.
Yeah, find myself watching - not painting otherwise

I started about 6 months ago, and I thought the same thing, I was convinced I was doing something wrong with it taking me about 2 hours a marine to clean flash, but you get better with practice. Good luck!

This discussion is absurd. The mental gymnastics on display here are appalling. The combat familiar gives the DP two attacks with a specific profile. The special rule modifies the DP's attacks, no matter how it got those attacks. The CF's attacks are at AP 2. Anything else is stupid. |

There's also that good movies tend to have an involved plot, and you will miss key points, but a bad movie, nah, it's no big deal. Especially if you're watching an action heavy movie.

Take your X-acto blade and flip it about 190 degrees. Use the back side of the blade. Takes no skill and zero concentration. Pull it towards you over and over, tilted slightly (you'll get the feel for it real quick). You're not using the blade so you aren't going to gouge any big chunks out, and you can just pull it along the mold line real quick without even really looking. Leaves a very smooth surface behind and any accidents you make are so small primer alone will cover them. Much faster than using the blade and lets you actually watch whatever movie/series you've got on (second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender at the moment. Only 35 'gaunts to go!)

I have the perfect item for you! Its called a Deburring tool, its used for removing flashing and mould lines from metal machined tools. You can pick them up off e-bay for about $10 for 2-3 of them, they are a hooked shape knife and work well to remove the plastic mould lines. I got one on the advice of a member of this forum and have never looked back.

Ah,so people actually call them by their numbers? Cool, I didn't want to sound stupid using a bunch of numbers :3
I'm using an exacto #6 handle and a #25 blade, which I love, But I need to get like 10 more. They're so perfect :3 Perfect design and it puts your weight in all the right places. effective, like a scimitar,

@mwnciboo:
how sharp are they(like xacto shap?)? are they replacable blades?

I use a surgical scalpel for tidying plastic models,surpisingly very good for trimming the tips of fingers as well as deep incisions!
Needle files for metal,good for stabbing fingers!
