Awesome paint scheme, those blimps are what would get me into playing the FSA, oh and the John Henry too.

Alright! Time for another update .

This time around, I've got some Dystopian Wars Prussian minis to show. These frigates were painted as a test scheme. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how they came out, so I'll probably paint the rest of the fleet this way. The scheme was based off the one shown on the cover art for the box, which in turn was based off a shcheme used on the Bismark (http://www.hobbyworldinc.com/plast67.html). Anyway, here they are:

I had better get busy; there is a lot more to paint!

I just put the finishing touches on my FSA Armored Battlegroup! Overall, I went for the same scheme shown on the box, with the exception of swapping green for blue. I'm pretty happy with how they came out, and can't wait to get them on the table this Sunday . Here they are:

Here is the landship. Gun-armed White Houses on tracks FTW!

Here is a Trenton medium tank. I liked this model the most out of all the ones in the box:

The Bombards are also really great. I love how the FSA's arty is a huge rocket battery!

And finally, the small tanks. There is actually a lot of detail in these little guys!

So, now that the armored battlegroup is done, it is time to move on to bigger and better things (emphasis on the BIGGER!):

I have started some research into the cloar scheme for my Brittania fleet and it is amazing how Spartan has captured the historical signifigance of the behemoth ships from the late 1800's. I love this game

Finally got my FSA Dreadnought done! I am fairly happy with how it came out; I attempted a few refinements to my previous Great White Fleet scheme, relying less on flat block painting of the colors. Anyway, I present the FSS America:

We refuse to take sides in this anymore. And we refuse to let you turn us against one another. We know who we are now, we can find our own way between order and chaos...

It's over because we've decided it's over. Now get the hell out of our galaxy! Both of you.

Just put the finishing touches on my Prussian Dreadnought. I have chosen to paint her in a version of the WW II era Baltic camo pattern, which featured angular white and black stripes. The red turret tops are just to give it a little visual interest . Given the size and stature of the model, I'm thinking of naming him the SMS Friedrich der Grosse; Let me know what you guys think!

As for the rest of my Prussians, the naval side of things is going well, as you can see in this WIP photo. I would say the rest of the ships are around 80% complete:

However, I still have yet to start on the land forces, bombers, and tiny flyer tokens. Lots more to do!

Well, it has taken me a while, but I have finally gotten my Prussian fleet done! Here is my battleship, the SMS Derfflinger:

Here are some of my cruisers:

The Destroyers:

The Escorts:

And now, the air support:

And here is a shot of the whole fleet:

Special thanks to my "photography assistant"

So, there we go. Still on the list are the land forces, the tiny flyers, the bombers, and a Metzger!

Continuing on with the Prussian land units, here is a medium tank I painted up as a test. The scheme is based on one used during the later part of WW II by the German army:

Let me know what you think! I plan on getting all of my land units painted by the end of the week, so stay tuned!

Well, it took me a few days longer than I expected, but I finally got my Prussian land forces done! You might note that I've modified my scheme slightly; instead of a 3-color camo, I went with a 2-color scheme that does not include the brown patches. I just felt those brown patches didn't do much for the look of the model, and were hard to see thanks to the basecoat-wash-drybrush technique I use. Without further ado, here is the landship:

Now, the rest of the medium tanks:

The Bombards:

The Small Tanks:

And finally, a couple shots of the whole battle group:

There you have it! I'm pretty happy with how my Prussians came out, and I can't wait to get them on the table. Unfortunately, this will probably be my last update for a few weeks, since I'm going to be out of town on business and can't take my hobby stuff with me :(. Until next time!

Nice. The heavy tanks remind me of the late WW1 AV7? i think that is what it was called. very similar design. Nice work on the final finished product. i like what spartan games has been doing lately. glad to see that they updated all tHe US stuff too.
