Clubs are on the drawing board for the future but it will be quite a while as we are thinking up the best implementation possible.

Is this a GW address error (that's where I got the info from), or is this because the store is in a mall (or both). Also wondering if this avenue is in the mall itself. Thanks again lego for the map!

No, just checked it on Google Earth, everything's cool, the address works just fine, don't know whether Google Maps has a bug or not. You can check for yourself, but those are my findings.

GW have a lot of invalid addresses on their website. The trafford centre is listed elsewhere as this address:
130 Peel Hall Road
Manchester, Greater Manchester M17 8BJ, United Kingdom

Google earth and google maps (on their website) use a more refined lookup service to that which they provide to developers. The one we get to use is very vague and needs exact addresses, especially for shopping centres. Try that address or look up some other stores nearby for their addresses and try to add again please

Will do, thanks again legoburner!

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but this lead me to a park a few miles away. Will find some other address.

Good idea, hopefully it will grow over time to be a good resource. I've added my local store too.

The ampersand (&) symbol doesn't show up correctly in store names; it shows up as "&amp".

Yeah it gets double encoded due to overzealous safety measures on my part. Known bug that I'll get around to fixing eventually

I noticed the GW store finder is a bit... optomistic shall we say?

For example in NY they like Jim Handley's Universe and Midtown Comics. JHU hasn't carried GW stuff since the early 90s and I've never seen any gaming stuff at Midtown. They MIGHT have some BL books and should have the licensed BOOM! comics but that does not make them gaming stores.

OK, I have to admit I'm impressed that the store finder had listings for Beijing. Including one shop I did not know.

But my favorite shop (and AFIK the first one there) was NOT listed. They also don't have phone numbers.

In any case kudos for GW for including them.

Edit - They're also missing the 2 shops in Shanghai.

Great Idea, I added two of the 4 best and only stores in Sothern Missouri. Changing Hands Joplin MO and Dirt Road Willow Springs MO. Will add Rolla and Springfield soon.

Mod approval granted for all pending stores. I've also learned of two stores near me that I didnt already know about. Good resource, give the creator a pat on the back for me

about 12% of listed shops also now have users here on dakka who are representatives of the stores, so that opens up a lot of cool options for the future too

what exactly makes one a "representative"? working at the store? Speaking on behalf of the store? Or just being a store advocate/supporter?

I assume it is meant to be something "official".

I was going to say 'owner' instead of representative, but it could be any position of authority that allows you to legally speak for the store (owner, manager, appointed by owner as Internet rep, etc).

Added the stores that carry Brushfire (and weren't already listed).

On the subject of the dot not hitting the correct place, IMO its better that the address listed is correct rather then fudging it. Don't want people going to the wrong street addy and having them think the place closed.
