ah so now I understand. (English is not my natural language)

I think I might Gloss Varnish the water, but only after I obtained that paint.

I'll wait with building a bayou themed board until I know the common size of a Malifaux gaming board. I don't want the models to walk 3 quarters of the game because the board id too big, but It can't be too small either.

I'll post a pic of the finished result. I finished the 1st model and I am going to glue it to its base once I get 2 components glue. (which is twice as strong as supper glue.)

The recommended board size is 3 feet x 3 feet.

Just keep in mind though, you wont always be playing in a Bayou.

Yes I won't always play in a bayou. But When friends come to play at my house We will Play in the gremlins home that is.

I just glued the 1st model to it's base. But I read that it has to dry for 72 hours. I don't dare to move it.

well, the model has dried. I do have to admit it looks neat. 1st finished Malifaux model. C&C welcome. only just noticed the face needs a lot more detail.

I think once I get the Anima Tactics all done and dusted in the far distant future gonna have to think about Malifaux

unfortunatly I haven't played the game yet. (as I don't have the rulebook or a fatedeck yet).

Hope to inspire you even more to play this game.

Cool. Looks good on the base. The blue band on the hat brings it together with the base.

If you are still planning on doing more detail on the face maybe try using a Thakka Green or Baal Red wash. Red is a really good colour to shade green with.

I'm looking forward to seeing the one looking quite literally down the barrel of his rifle.

thanks mate, wasn't too sure about the blue banding.

Naaah, I am not going to was it thrakka green, I don't want them to look like mini orks. I will paint their eyes and attempt to paint their tong and such.

well sorry for not updating in a while, but I only did some minor touches on some 40k models I had lying around. Nothing worth posting. Just saying this because I am not about to forget this thread.

An update, but only some words.

I Found my 2 missing ogryns back! I painted them up like the rest of my guard. Furthermore, I also painted up some more steel legionaries. Then I Started painting Somer teeth jones! He is done just this minute. Finaly I started on another gremlin. The one looking down it's barrel.

oh and I finished up an old conversion I made. A rastafari guardsman Sergeant. Looks very good IMHO.
