My buddy just got me into this game, ended up selling some excess 40k models online and buying a box of the viks. Also picked up a hans, want to get a convict, and then I'm going to get the mad hatter and copycat killer. I really enjoy the game for the models more than anything, still havent had the money to spare on a rulebook. Look forward to more posts on here, I'd love to see what you guys have done, and this thread is nice for getting a feel for good crews and how to play them

*Edit: Not getting the Copycat Killer and Mad Hatter for my Viks by the way, just like them for the models. May start up a Resurrectionists faction eventually

Uusually tournements dont allow you to use proxies for models that are currently produced by wyrd. But those are some awsome sculpts.

Yeah, wasnt thinking about tournaments, I"m just so used to being able to convert everything in 40k, so with this game I feel like I have to at least proxy or something since i can't really convert haha. A nurse hat could easily be sculpted from GS for the nurse to make her a proxy for Miss Pack that limited edition Gen Con model:

I would love to get this model, however, its going for 30$-50$ online (or Ebay, if thats not a forbidden word on here like it is in most GW stores) which is way too much money for me right now.

Usually Wyrd is pretty good about giving the limited edition stuff away in contests and such. For example a month or so ago they did promotion where you spent $75 on wyrd stuff at your FLGS and you got a free Gremlinette, so keep your eyes on their website for miss pack.

There is nothing wrong with converting something, to make it unique to the army. What most people that I've seen play regularly do is put alot of work into the baseing of their models, they tend to get pretty elaberate.

There is no point in creating a "counts-as" Miss Pack. She is just a Nurse.

The rules card for her is identical to the card for both other Nurse models.

So all you need is a Nurse rule card.

Bam, said the lady!

Oh I thought Miss Pack was different from the other nurses. I just got into this game last week, still learning.

Its just like the gremlinette model for the outcasts, its just an alternative sculpt for a Hog Whisperer. Wyrd is pretty good about makeing models that every one can get, even if they cant always get the alternative sculpt.

This is true. I named my Gremlinette 'Brittney'... cos she is green trailer park trash...

My suprise has been put on hold, I have less then a month to get everything ready for the Warstore weekend and I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off for awhile. Ill get it done at some point though. Hopefully before Warstore weekend, as I'd love to be able to show it off there

I actually snagged a Miss Pack during GenCon. I'm excited about that. I was very close to picking up a Lord Chompy Bits Special Edition as well, but the price ($60) and the fact that I don't play Neverborn deterred me...

Of course, now I'm thinking of starting up Neverborn because I want the Oogie Boogie (or Stitched Together, whatever), the Rider, and Copellius. Oh, and Lilitu looks pretty cool.

My Lord Chompy Bits will be on display for the first time at The War Store Weekend!
