To be honest, I'm not entirely sure where the artist rummaged around to get inspiration, but I'd imagine Hellboy was somewhere close by! Personally, I get a sort of Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry vibe from him! Although, after he shoots you, he'll probably eat you too.

Hi Folks,
The Summer Knight has just squeezed in an appearance before the end of the year (and yes, I am aware of the irony of the title...)! To coincide with the release, I've also launched the Winter Sale. Everything in stock is at £8.00 (including P&P) until the current holdings run out. Can't say fairer than that, surely?

This was a very, very quick paint job (couple of hours really) on one of my figures. Attending a show tomorrow and it was the only one of my releases which I hadn't had time to do (never enough time to paint these days...oh well, being made redundant in a month or so's time, so I guess there'll be a bit more free time spare :p ).
Hope you like her

I can't believe this thread hasn't gotten more posts; the minis are very good!
One thing though, please put your url for the web-store into your signature, gotta pimp that site!
Just out of curiosity, I notice you have 1.50 GBP for shipping anywhere; what has been the experience with shipping to the US, and are your minis available from retailers in the states, like the Warstore at all?
Sorry to hear about the work issues, best of luck to you!
Damn, that's too many "!"'s...

Agreed. Your web store should be in your sig line and EVERY POST you put in this thread should include it.
Might some consider that overkill? Yep. You'd be surprised how many people don't look at sig lines, though.
Eric
P.S. I like the last model posted (could make an interesting Rotten Belle proxy for Malifaux), and the paint job is nice. Not quite "Here is your trophy" nice, but it definitely shows the model off well!

Cheers dude!
Haven't had any postage issues with the US at all as far as I'm aware (or at least none which anyone's mentioned to me!) - takes about 2 weeks, but I've had stuff arrive within seven days too (go figure!).
As for selling to retailers - to be honest, I've tried it, and it hasn't ever really worked out for either party. I just don't really make enough figures for it to 'properly' work. And the chances are that the releases are going to few and far between for the forseeable future whilst I work out how things go for real life work!
That said, I have been able to take over a commission from someone else which is going to be pretty much the best thing ever (as far as I'm concerned). Can't say anything about it at the moment aside from that it's a great concept, and the sculptor doing it is one of the very, very best ones out there...
Of course, it'd be nice if he bloody emailed me occasionally, but there we go :p
Anyhoo, thanks for the support (and you too MagickalMemories)!
Edit: Signature put up :p

That new 'Pride, Pejudice and Zombies' Baroness figure is very nice. I like Papa Demon a lot too, could make a nice Slaanesh something. And I'd certainly get a Servant Prime if I was looking for a Tau Ethereal. I like what seems to be your design philosophy - figures ambiguous/generic enough to fit into a variety of wargaming armies, but original and unique enough not to step on anyone's IP toes.
Re your web site, it needs more pics of painted figures - at least one (but preferably more) beautifully painted example of each figure. Hmm, run a simple competition asking customers to send in their own pics of your figures which they've painted themselves - the ones you like enough to post in the gallery win a free new figure of their choice?

I would like one or two of those Baroness figures for Cutlass.
Any in metal?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

Thanks for the comments folks. The web-site definitely needs a spring clean, that's for sure.
As for metal - not at this moment in time I'm afraid. Always a chance in the future it will happen, but I'm not quite there yet!
