None. I am the guy who picks up anything which moves. BUT, I hate seaweed! As a fisherman's son and coming from a fishing family lining back to the 17th century there is nothing that I fear more than being stuck in seaweed. If you have ever seen a drowned man you know it can't be a good way to go. Their eyes say it all...

Yikes! Being entangled in a mass of seaweed? That is scary.

But I'm pretty freaked out by Bees. Mostly because I'm deathly allergic to them. If I get stung by one my throat swells up so I can't breathe...had it happen once and had to be sent to the ER.
But one animal that doesn't scare me as much as annoy the hell out of me...THE fething STINK BUGS THAT ARE EVERYWHERE ALL OF THE SUDDEN! They need to go back to China or Japan or wherever the hell the fethers came from.
I get like a girl when it comes to bugs, especially spiders. I hate em all and if I see one crawling near me my first instinct is to jump way back and go WTF! Then terminate with extreme prejudiceness.

Nope Ive seen it. Its so damn cheesy that it somehow takes the nasty-ness of the roaches away. But seriously, pest control shows and the like, I get the shivers. I go from super tough guy, to jello in seconds
Darth Bob wrote:Regardless, Octopi and the like can be quite scary. The Humboldt Squid has been known to actually attack people o_O.
I saw a feature on TV about the waters I think off the coast of Australia where the numbers of sharks have been so reduced that there has been a boom in these squid. They aren't big but they will attack like a piranha swarm and single bite it like taking a bullet, people can pass out through pain and end up chewed all over.
Anyway I can't think of any bugs I'm scared of myself, I don't like earwigs and kill them if I catch one in the house but I'm not scared of it, it should be scared of my boot.
I find it fascinating how food webs work. If you get rid of the predators, bad stuff happens. If you get rid of the producers, bad things happen. Any little change can destroy an ecosystem.
Spiders...naw was bite twice in one summer by Black Widows and only had flue like efects, a brown recluce spider bite is bad but if taken care of your fine just a red welt if lucky. My and my brother used to collect poisonous snakes as kids so they were pets that my mom hated. Sharks would do it for me, not the great white but the bull and tiger sharks, they are the most dangerous sharks ever.
