so here we are again...
my vernerable dreadnought wannabe had to undergone some serious detailing...also heavy washing day^^

i followed an urge to repaint his ccw and painted his "fingers" red. intodruced the color dark angels green in banners and shields... and painted the base black for starters...

the whole model parts that were basecoated cowl brown were now washed firstly with a layer of gryphon sepia. also with said wash i gone over the goldparts in the iconography bits.
after that i realised that the wash with sepia wasn´t what i wanted so i did my usual with flesh wash...

i basecoated the lenses of the weaponsystems which will later be colored with scorpion green and then i will try my best to add a lenseeffect... don´t know if i can pull it off...

right side with TL Lascanons to show what effect i want to create with the flesh wash.
the blotchy look is aimed for, it looks in my eyes like a very subtile version of sand or more earthy camo look...

What does the back look like? The repetition of the Angel with Sword is cool.

Are you going to make the lantern on the top look glowy?

ähem... the lantern i thought was some kind of dedicating water thing like the one on the ccw arm... to tell the truth i don´t know exactly how to do glow effects... my plasma weapons aren´t so good...

on the TW lascanon arm there is now also a wing/dagger icon...had to break up that big space...couln´t stand it^^

i know there are some details on the base not done yet and also the metalparts will probably need a wash.
i tried some highlights on the body parts, but what do you think, where is still work to do, and what can i do when i guess i´ve nearly reached my extent of painting skills for now?
