As a Pressganger, I have a general rule: If i can look at the model, and go "Ah, that's a *whatever*." then I allow it in my events.

If I look at it and go "Wait, that's what again?" then it's a no go.

I enjoy conversions a lot, and have a couple that are "against" the PP modeling rules, but they're obviously the model intended. My Vanguards are based on Thorn's body, my nomads all have maces instead of swords, my Death Jack doesn't have a head, and my Fenris is riding an ork warbike.

But you can look at the model and go "Ah, that's a Deathjack..." or "Ah, that's Fenris."

PP can complain about conversions based off what it looks like after they give the Nomad Reach like it should obviously have.

Yeppers, reach for Nomads, at the cost of one POW. But the reach is nummy.

The new "It doesn't have reach?" champion is the Protectorate jack with the flail and fire belcher...

Reach and Shield are the only rules a Nomad has!
