Actually it still has a heavy bolter afterwards. May not be much, but moving back six inches and firing its heavy bolter can still take out a small number of Guardsmen every turn
People always forget these things.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Fun thing about it is that youre enemy will try everything to keep it from firing
Then when it finally fires, watch his face get whiter and whiter, heheheh.

3 Deathstrikes would make for a fun army... obviously with sme other additions.

I'd be tempted to run a triple Deathstrike army, just to see how it works.
Who knows? It might actually be reasonably competitive.

Three Deathstrike, meant all your HS slots are taken. So better have some really nice bodyguard units for the deathstrike It will be really scary for your enemy and I'm sure he'd try to take them out first.

Yeah, but he's going to be freaking out over the Deathstrikes. Mech vets, Hellhounds, all those things will be fine for body guarding.

Question bout the deathstrikes though, can they be repaired by techpriests? Meaning if they took a weapons destroyed damage result and gets a -1 to their counter, can the techpriest repair that and take away the -1 modifier?

I would think so...as Blessings of the Omnissiah says that it 'repairs' (which I assume means 'reverses the effect of') of one Immobilized or Weapons Destroyed result on a 5+.
However, you wouldn't want to do this to a Deathstrike. Why? Because even if you repair at and get your -1 taken away....the weapon that's been repaired can't fire till your next shooting phase, so it's really moot. Just roll the d6, hope you get a 6 and send the Techpriest to go fix a Bassie cannon or something.

Oh ok, so it pretty much works against the techpriest player to attempt and repair the deathstrike
