Do you not want to be a winner?@!?
And still many people model U.S. Army Imperial guards.
Your army is looking good! I don't understand the fuss about it being confederate themed. Everyone should really get over it.
I know you are trying to instigate an argument but I gotta say something anyway. The United States has never militarily lost any conflict, including vietnam. Don't attempt to disprove this, because vietnam was a political loss, not military. And before you come back with some snide remark on how we left and that somehow counts as a loss, look up some statistics, read about battles, and educate yourself beyond wikipedia and CNN.
And don't bring up our current situation in Iraq of Afghanistan, because these are ongoing things and we have made success in many of our endeavors there, contrary to popular CNN belief.
Pretty sure he was just poking fun here. Chill dude =)
As for the army, I like it. Definitely original

I think some folks need to take a deep breath and calm down here. Mordian has simpily painted an army using a theme from history. He hasn't been spreading hateful propaganda or posting racial slurs. He has said nothing of his personal belief system at all here. In fact, he has made it very clear he did not want to offend anyone, he merely wants feed back about his conversions and the idea of the army he has painted. Either you like it or you don't.
I don't mind the army one bit. As others have stated, some of painting could be improved and you definately need better photos, but overall I think you've done a fine job. I bet it looks great on the table.
Two questions though;
1) Why did you go for Black on the tanks and vulture as opposed to Grey? I think they look good, but they seem seperate from your infantry.
2) What does the General Lee Buggy count as? Sentinal, Chimera, Heavy support? I only ask because I love vehicle conversions and every time I see one I get tempted to make a few of my own.
Again, well done and get those new photos up.

Great work, the paint scheme is pretty true to the uniforms of the Confederacy. Keep it up.

Nice job on the conversions and having a fully painted army. I say if someone has an issue with them it had better be a vetran of the civil war, otherwise their opinion means nil.

Why sir, I am OFFENDED. This is a mockery to everything the united states stands for. Freedom and Justice for all.The Confederacy was a bunch of racist hicks who wanted nothing more than to..blahblahblah.
Just kidding. Awesome Idea. I think I'll use up one of my standard bits to make a confederate flag, just for laughs...(and freehand practice ).
If the confederacy had a valkyrie, the union would have surely lost

This is going to sound weird...but i like the confederate theme, not only that but i think that it would have been neater if you had gone in a more serious direction with it. The dukes of hazard stuff made me laugh, but looking at your army i realized that the confederate color scheme looked pretty sharp as well. It might even be interesting to come up with some historically based fluff the army.
P.S. its been said already, but no one should accuse you of being some crazy nativist redneck for painting your models the way that you did. I played a few rounds as a German in call of duty: world at war and had no desire to shave my head and doodle swastikas afterwards, so you should be fine.
P.P.S. you should make a unit of these guys http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantrill's_Raiders
