*sigh*

You can't equip IG vehicles with DH vehicle upgrades, and you can't use Psycannon bolts in a gun that doesn't fire bolts.

LOL, first of all actually check the fluff, you can appropriate vehicles, and Inquisitors have actually appropriated baneblades before. Plus, even if you can't psicannon fit a baneblade cannon, thats still 3 twin-linked heavy bolters on all 4 vehicles.

What I was thinking.

24x Orbital Lance Strikes
4x Melta Torpedo
= 2000 pts.

And I don't even need to bring anything other than a template and some dice...

7 Bloodthirsters with daemonic might (S9 on the charge, S8 normally). Except the part where pure infantry guardsmen would ruin them in one turn of shooting...this is pretty much against the serious amount of tank-building armies out there. This also leaves 110 pts open. Time to throw in some screamers w/ melta bombs too

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Ummm...somewhere...

I guess not involving the automatic win apocolypse way, or forge world, then I'd have to say 10 Tyrgons would be quite appropriate or the sake of viciousness

up against a deepstrike army, you just tabled them

2000 pts worth of regular ole' necrons (about 112 total) would do it for me against the 'All Pies" ideas in this thread, you spead out that many warriors, no way you'd get phased out before you glanced everything to death

2000 pts of Stealers (142 models outflanking from every table edge) in an objective game would be hillarious.

8 Deepstriking Trygon Primes would win me a match too

Realistically, I'd say a well built 2000 point list using standard FoC.

However, for spam purposes:
16 Ravagers, 4 with disintegrators, all with night shields and flickerfields. Have fun with 36 Dark Lances and 36 S5AP2 shots. (Yes, monolith spam kicks the crap out of this)

Against the Pie Dispenser army, maybe. But not against the All Pies army. Orbiting cruisers are a bit more than 24" away.

Machines dont need to breathe, we will contruct a Gauss-Necron Ladder, and using the combined total of over 100 Gauss flayers, your ship(s) will be brought down

He just won. Theres not a single model on the table, but you still have enough fire power to bring down anything.

I'm pretty sure he just lost, as per the Wipeout! rule, P90. That is, of course, assuming you can stick one guy somewhere where he won't get killed.

Fine, add a naked inquisitor to the list. 20pts for one model, the rest go into buying orbitals.
