I'd really like to agree with the Original Poster and say that painting warhammer for me is the ultimate escape mechanism. I can simply forget how the weather outside is truly awful, a singular empty and hollow existence, the only person I want to be noticed by would rather pretend I didnt exist and my supposed 'best friend' (and housemate) has turned into an irresponsible, nasty and arrogant human since finding the new 'love of his life'. Simply, painting warhammer is the best escape from reality and seems incredibly fulfilling when a new model is completed.

I've wanted to, but purchasing a real live warhammer is so expensive!

Right, it's just not the same without the authenticity of a warhammer which is designed purely for caving peoples' skulls in.

well in that terms i strongly recommend the use of these:
whats it called in english? we call it a "rabenschnabel" so "ravenbeak"...
its for either hitting someone from high up on horseback and also to hit someone on horseback... so its rather something for the whole family...

Do you just carry one around with you?
"Hey Vic, where ya going?"
"Getting groceries!"
"... With a Warhammer?"
"Yep! Helps to reach the high shelves!"

Well few months ago we (i say we because i wasn' only me but 6 job mates too) were told to be fired from work (tha matters of that are too long to explain, but came for somethin worse tha the economic crisis in my country), BUUUUUT the Dumbass uf our current president approved certain laws so the fether of our chief keeped us doing nothing until the final approval... that's about 2-3 months... so in returned to paint... in job (no one blamed me for it) as an exit form my stress (the other option was a killing spree), so it reminded me how makes me calm the fact to paint the miniatures in a conscientious way (in fact, black corsairs are no longer black). I can just refer to this sensation as peace of mind....
