Great report, it was a real pleasure to read. Those red/black guard are awesome, I love all fo the converted and scratchbuilt stuff, what are those mech suit looking guys though?

Sihamoni takes great pride in the league he helped create, as was conveyed in his recent advertising campaign for the CMFL that stated his midgets will "... take on anything; man, beast, or machine."

This is probably the best battle report I have ever seen. Two Fully Painted 5000 Point armies in an epic clash with TONS of well thought out pictures. I can tell a lot of work went into this. Thank you for taking the time to put this report together. Not only is it amazingly cool, it is inspiring as well.

On a side note, I love the Nod themed IG. That's awesome.

very nice report! the only suggestion i'd make is maybe expanding the text a bit and putting the appropriate pics next to the turns they're occuring in. it's definitely cool to see such nice armies with all the effort put into converting and modelling them go at it on a big table! oh, and this has to be the biggest 40k cockblock i've ever seen!

lol, i had something similar happen to me when i tried to move a guard platoon across an elevated bridge but that IG platoon was far less threatening than what was stopped in your game.

so... when do you guys play again so we can expect another report?

...urrrr... I dunno

Wow. The fact that you guys have that many painted miniatures alone astounds me. The battle, too, was awesome to look at, and the board is just ace.

To conclude, this was awesome. Good work!

Yeah the problem was I wasn't just documenting, I was also playing so I never managed to photograph things as they were occuring because I was too busy rolling dice. Next time I'll probably do a video or just take a back seat and forcus on documenting. \

We'll probably do another apoc game over the holidays. Probably guard vs eldar.

while my games and reports haven't been as big as yours (i've done max 3,000pts per side with one player), i've found it helpful to only take pics once per each side's turn (at the end of movement for me is best) at the same time to help remembering. you just take a minute and have everyone step away from the models and take a few pics. looking forward to the next battle!

Frickin' Amazing! Tons of crazy sweet orky models (and even a few imperials )
Fun scenario and good paint jobs all around. Excellent!

You must understand that for an ork a day that starts off killing something with your bare hands, and ends with those same hands being chopped off in battle, is a good one.

What's betta than one choppa? Two choppas!!! Two choppas is one more than...is one times da...IS LOTS MORE FUN!! WAAAAGH!!!
