Bethesda already knew about this bug before but decided to keep it in (similarly so with the bug that allows Giants to play cricket/baseball/other ball&bat based game with you and knock you across Skyrim). If you shove a bucket onto a guard's head you can commit any crime in front of him and he won't notice too.

I went mad with my perks, but not TOO mad. They're mainly focussed in Smithing (damn the complete lack of any materials for intermediate-level equipment), One-Handed, Ranged, Light Armour, and Stealth, which equates to about points in each given my level.
Also, Hagravens are a bloody pain in the arse, especially the ones in the . I only just managed to kill them with an elven bow and ancient Nord arrows + various poisons, in conjunction with beating on them with an axe when they came too close and desperately healing myself between Fire Breath dragon shouts.

I used all my poisons on them, but the buggy movement meant that landing the poisoned arrow was quite hard after the initial stealth tag, since they would stop, then shift just as I fired and it'd whistle an inch too far away; the lightning drained my magicka too quickly for me to heal myself enough at the same time too.
It doesn't matter anyway, I killed them all, but i'd have preferred it if i'd have been a higher level.
In other news, bears are now, for some reason, able to trounce me in a matter of seconds, where before I would all but take it down from range before it could do anything, and simply end it with a blow from my axe. Doing another quest for the Companions to kill a certain bear, and one has blocked the cave exit (so if I enter, I can't get out again thanks to my backpeddling too far) and both are now able to tear me a new one before I can do anything.
Do dungeons and the likes have a certain time period before they reset?

Hmmm, might have to wait for a much higher level then. Luckily the mob levels in dungeons are locked upon entering, so should be easier.

What i'm wondering is how dual-wielding ups damage, it appears that you swing each hand equally as fast, and can't swing furiously (one right after the other, there's a cooldown period between strikes), so i've found little point in dual-wielding over HW/S, especially since HW/S offers you a larger degree of protection AND you have the ability to kill enemy power strikes with a well-timed shield bash.
Has anyone found anything to the contrary?

Being an archer does seem to be quite hard, especially since using bows is slower than it was in oblivion, in exchange for a damage buff, although playing on Adept difficulty, it doesn't feel all that great of an increase. There are some things that I dread facing as an archer, namely beasts (simply because they're too quick) and tough guys like Ice Trolls (found one on my level 15 and he took on me and a passer by, taking two fire breath shouts and a large amount of steel arrows (I don't have enough orcish or dwarven arrows to warrant them being spent on anything bar dragons) to take down after he ate the passer by). I seem to end up running in and hammering on things to actually kill them, even with 3x sneak damage. Strangely enough, dragons are one of the easiest kills i've had, simply because of the large gaps in damage whilst they fly around, they also don't seem to do much when they land apart from give you ample time to descale them.

Okay, I have a feeling this spider poison has done something permanent, because ever since I was poisoned, i've been taking a craptonne more damage from everything than I should be taking. I actually considered simply switching difficulties before a dungeon because I can't seem to take any amount of damage without it wiping me out in a short space of time.

Bear in mind marriage-wise that if you want to wed any of the eligible Companions, you have to complete their main questline first otherwise the dialogue options for marriage don't appear.

I've never faced a Dragon Priest. The fact I rely on Stealth attacks to level the playing field early on will probably be my downfall unless I can throw Lydia at it early.

Sparks in one hand and flames in the other? Use both at once for FLAMING LIGHTNING MAGIC OF DOOM!
They'd have to do it differently from Fable 3, that system was grossly overpowered when you got the paralysis of lightning coupled with the damage of fire, the paralysis lasting long enough to do another aoe blast and re-paralyse.
Obviously sparks don't paralyse here, but it could get overpowered very easily is what i'm saying.

It doesn't matter AFAIK, I guess i'm just too badass to need aid.

I get a "weapon must be equiped" popup when I try but its clearly equiped and in my hands.
Im trying to apply frostspider venom to a one handed mace.
Wut me do wrong?
Hardcore mode is a great idea for the game btw.
I think there's a bug where it only recognises an equipped weapon for poison purposes if it's in a certain hand (the right IIRC). Try switching hands.

Hmm, does anyone have any idea what keeps causing these frequent mini-freezes on the PC version? I don't think graphics quality affects it, as it does it just as much on Low as it does on the High settings the game thinks I should have, but it's quite a pain in the arse.

The horse is more trouble than it's worth. You can steal one for a bounty you could pay off with buttons and a half-sucked sweet, but I suppose that's only because they're absolute crap. You get off, and it has the ability to fly across the road and land somewhere obscure, they also jump late, so you have to learn to time the jump a second or two after your press the spacebar. The movement is also pants.
I honestly think it's faster on foot considering all the mounting/dismounting, finding my horse again, trying to face him in the right direction...

Has anyone had much experience with Destro/Conjuration Wizards in Heavy Armour? Mine seems to be doing fine (even if Conjuration is a bastard to level; can't wait until I can summon Frosty without eating 3/4 of my magicka in the process, even if I don't end up using a lot of it afterwards) but i'm wondering if i'll head into any trouble later on, like magic nerfs due to wearing armour instead of clothes.

Spell cost reduction enchants must be pretty rare, because my enchanting is almost level 60 and i'm half way to level 18, and haven't seen anything with that enchantment, i'm stuck with Fortify Magicka and Magicka Regen for now.

I wish they'd scripted deaths into people's dialogues. Yesterday a dragon attacked Riverwood and ol' Alvor died (bless him, I remember when he was teaching me how to make stuff I then sold back to him *sniff*) trying to bash its face in, but his wife is either none the wiser, despite his body being in the middle of the place, or gone so mad that she imagines he is still around. Hmmm, rememeber I said that Alvor had died fighting a dragon? Well, a lot of in-game days later (since he died days ago real time, and i've been playing for ages since then), and 3 hired thugs in full steel try to cut me down (with half of Dawnstar's citizens doing the same thanks to a badly placed shout).
One of them had a contract from Alvor calling me a thief and telling them it wasn't necessary to kill me, but it didn't matter if they did.
Either it took them AGES to find me, or Alvor's ghost is pretty pissed off with me.
