Cheers very muchly, must admin I didn't think I'd enjoy the papercrafting idea as much as I have been, I think its the scaling up factor thats the most interesting.
Great work on the Grey Ultramarins by the way...nice to see some classic space marine models are still out there and going strong!

Awesome stuff, I shall watch with interest. Loving the paper craft bolter especially, though I await that chainsword the most.

Cheers very much glad you like them...I'm hoping we can get enough people interested in it as possible and lobby for a section on dakka where people can upload their own designs etc
Spending any spare time I have on the chainsword at the mo and will update with some build pics asap.
P.S...love the Dread base you've got uploaded, did you use some real twigs in there somewhere? Automatically Appended Next Post: KingCracker wrote:Yea, so far the Ork papercraft is incredibly slim, as in, not there
Yep very limited, I've come across a few looted tanks when searching for other space marine items but not being an ork player I didn't keep a note of them, I'll try and dig back through my history see if I can find them.
Did notice that someone had made an Ork in Google Sketchup that could be exported into the Pepakura designer if that helps any? I'll try to dig the link out and post back later today.

^_^ Thanks. The log in the back is part of a real stick. Got it with the sand that's on the base. I miss that lake.

He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. Haha nice one Got to be better than paying for GW's own "specially formulated basing sand" Not sure what its like across the pond but GW's prices seem to have gone through the roof over here recently :( Automatically Appended Next Post: Woo not so long no updates this time
Just a quick one to show I really do finish mad projects that I start. Pics below of full sized Salamander Space Marine helmet finally finished. Gave it a few thin coats of fibreglass resin to help stiffen things up a little and finally a good 3-4 coats of clear coat salamanders green, (with suitable heavy battle damage ) along with a mini desktop sized version to keep at work as the full sized version took up too much space
Desktop Version (Last pic was taken on A4 paper for scale reference)
Full Sized Version (Thats Space Marine Full Sized so looks really stupidly large unless you're 8' tall and built like a brick out house )
(Last pic taken with a 150mm or 6" square for scale reference )
Please post pics of anything you're building!!!

Woohoo, after a bit of an epic build session tonight I've managed to get the basic skeleton of the chainsword pattern complete, (1000mm from end to end)...1 tooth down, 19 more to go
Any and all comments/suggestions on improvements most welcome, feel free to PM me if you'd like a copy of the pattern to make one
