Actually, I think the Santa direction could work. Outside the...artistic works depicted above, you have the ever-popular "I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus"...

Actually, in interval notation, a bracket indicates that the number is included in the set, not excluded from it. Since 3 isn't included in the set of OT threads less than 3, (-∞,3) is correct.
