Sorry about the lack of updates, I'm all over the place with my painting at the moment. Muses are fickle and mine especially so. Finally got more paint so I don't have that hindering me anymore. Thank you for the feedback!

Huzzah! Some more t1's. The goal right now is just to get it so I can play a game without anyone complaining about me fielding unpainted models. Will have a new store in a few months so i want to avoid any such situation before it occurs.

My camera is not currently functioning, but i feel like I should update since its been forever since the last update it feels like.

Shading on the cloak, yay or nay?

I'm using the cloaks as a practice ground before I go back and do shading on the terminators as the cloaks are easier to redo. Thoughts?

Sorry for the long delay between updates, trying to push the quality of the terminators up while working on a grunt commission. Lots of painting, not so much for my models.

Real comment from someone and I agree, but some people on other places like it. So now I know what doesn't work as well as I like, here is attempt 2.

Went back and put some shadows onto the Terminator and gave my first shot at using the blending technique on the claws. Critique?

Good. I see a huge amount of progress in these. One thing I would recommend for painting the reds on a black undercoat is to go in first with a very light colored foundation paint such as Deneb Stone. I agree that the second attempt on the robes looked much better. Keep at it!

This is the 'I'm still alive' post.

Some stuff I've been messing around with:

Speeders still not highlighted, but at least they aren't as bad as they were.

Picked up a technique for lightning, let me know what you think. Also, converted a Typhoon launcher into a Cyclone launcher. Not finished painting yet, but progress is progress I suppose.

The lightning effect isn't too bad at all, I think maybe just a touch excessive on the hammers. I can see that your painting has improved quite a bit since the beginning. Keep it up.

I was worried about that but got a little bit carried away... I made an ultramarine covered in lightning as well. It's been awhile since I was able to paint last much less learn any new tricks. Thanks, I will do my best!

So I'm distracted, the new "guardsmen" came in and I'm loving putting them all together. These are from the Phalanx, the PDF regiments raised in the Angels of Acquittance worlds and used to hold the ground the Angels take and hold the enemy at bay with trenches, landmines, and big guns behind the masses of infantry. So changing the thread name...

Tell me what you think of the scheme. Dark blue, black, and red. The AA infantry scheme minus the tan robe plus a dark blue trenchcoat.
