.... not that it matters much but doesn't that mean that people can now shoot you (the tail) while being out of your lower LOS?

As Tri said; the lower you dip the nose, the greater a problem you have with people being able to draw LOS to the tail without you necessarily drawing LOS to them in return.

Anyway, if you mount the V on its flying stand correctly, it has the nose dipped a bit as it is.

Hmmm, I'm going to have to do some jommetry on this one, and see what the minimum effective range becomes.

From ground vehicles it seems it is 45 degrees elevation from the horizontal, so would skimmers' weapons allow 45 degrees depression from the horizontal?
