Red faction guerilla FTW! (I have it for the 360). One of my favorite games. Kind of vaguely like Grand Theft Auto, except on Mars, and you can destroy ANYTHING.

May the the blessings of His Grace the Emperor tumble down upon you like a golden fog. (Only a VERY select few will get this reference. And it's not from 40k. )

I have to agree with the Red Faction suggestions. Pretty nice game. I remember getting it for $5.00 when Darksiders came out. My darksiders game had a code in it that was to be redeemed like 3 months later. Nobody knew what the code was for fpr awhile. It turned out to be the Red Faction game and a lot of other goodies.

Isn't there another red faction game coming out soon?

I don't know if it is coming out soon, but it's called Red Faction Armageddon.

Borderlands, game of the year edition. Hours of fun, great Co-op mulitplay, super cheap now.

Borderlands is a great choice. Also, Killzone 2 was a lot of fun, I liked it better than the Call of Duty games. I think it's an exclusive PS3 game, been out a while so it might be cheaper. Killzone 3 is supposed to come out next month.

PS3 games are all bad because their on PS 3

"runs away flapping his arms"

Fanboy mode, off.

Anyway, I always loved killzone, I go over to friend every now and then to get drunk and play killzone all night long.

What's bad is thats the truth of it. If all those good games on the PS3 were on the 360 more people would like them. Fanboys just don't give them a chance.

Aye, the thing about PS3 owners though is that they're smart enough to let their friends pay for xbox live so that way they don't have to.

Also, Mass Effect 2 is coming out to the PS3 this January I believe so you could pick it up when that comes out. There are some differences between the earlier versions and the PS3 version, the biggest one being the lack of monocles and tophats in the earlier versions.

Much better if you ask me.

Did you play the second one Soladrin? It is a lot better as a game. The first one had a better plot though.

I will tell you as I have told everyone, if you play ME at least get past the citadel part before you quit. A lot of people hate that part of the game. You have a nice hour long action sequence at the beginning and then a lot of roleplaying at the citadel that lasts a few hours. It really kills the pace but the game picks up a lot better once you are able to leave the citadel. I tell people this but they never listen. They always stop at the citadel.

Oh I finished the game, I just thought it was really bland and boring. Didn't like any of the characters enough to care.

Except my self, cause I looked like Jean Reno

I downloaded a 2 gig demo for the new mass effect last night. I'll check it out and see if it was worth the 20 something hours it took...

I would suggest Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet 1 & 2, and Valkyria Chronicles if you like long games. If you like awesome graphics I would suggest the Final Fantasies (not the most recent though, I heard it sucked). Killzone 2 is also pretty amazing.

Killzone 2 is a tricky one to recommend though.

Its a fantastic game, great graphics, excellent story, and great multiplayer. The issue most people have with it is that it seems to be a lot harder than other shooters. Its like comparing the difficulty of baking a souffle to using an easy bake oven.

Its a tough game, but so worth it.

I like modern warfare 1 and 2.

I also like Little Big Planet, and number 2 looks promising.

The Uncharted series and Ratchet and Clank series are pretty good as well.

I forgot about Valkyria Chronicles. It's an amazing game if you enjoy Turn-based strategy games, as it combines that with a few elements from real-time third person shooters. The graphical style is amazing as well.
