Thanks guys for all the input thus far, I havent worked on it much tonight but hopefully I'll have this finished up soon.

sjefke-I can upload it once I'm done, I made this with Cintiq tablet on my laptop.

When I first saw the flaming sword I was afraid the fire effect would be too complex and make it clash with the rest of the picture. I was impressed to see that your further development of the Emperor's armour showed it did not.

As a formerly budding computer illustrator (no longer have access to a tablet or photoshop sadly) I find it very interesting seeing your stage-by-stage development of each picture, and I hope you continue that.

THIS IS A DOODLE??? What do you consider a proper drawing then? Its bloody awesome although i do have to agree with previous posters, the head is a wee bit to small but who cares right?

Technically sound, but I feel it lacks personality.
Just a little too clinical, don't be afraid to rough things up a little .

Also I don't like this kind of cgi-y fire effect, but that's personal taste.

I am very serious about this considering I have a big gap on my wall between the first two issues of the The Horus Heresy Volumes; which this photo would fit nicely.
