Plummeting Black Templar Thunderhawk Pilot






Since the black templars just got one, ill swing for the necrons:

1) All Units that are not fearless already gain the Stubborn USR rule

(to prevent SA primarily)

2) All gauss weapons are now S -1 but are Rending.

(gives gauss flayers some punch back)

3) Pariahs have the Necron special rule and have 2 attacks basic

4) Immortals are now troops choices

5) C'tan have the Fleet USR.

because they'd be stubborn and have rending guns for 10 pts cheaper than immortals.

I'd say that allows you to design more varied lists.

Bounding Assault Marine





SM

1) Allow us to take BloodRavens
- Why not, we are already going to get them next codex.
2) Reduce point costs for Assault Marines
- Everyone now just loads up on termies, I would like to see them viable again.
3) Allow tactical marines to exchange bolters for close combat weapons.
- If Grey hunters can get both why cant I choose to have one or the other.
4) Dont require Vangaurd to buy the Jump Packs, that should be included as it is with Assault marines w/ the option to drop.
- This unit is so ridiculously expensive as is. Having to add jump packs is just silly. Especially when it is hard enough to find any synergy with this chunk of points.
5) Bring back the armory.
-Cant say this enough. Simply allowing HQ's/Sergeants to buy allows for even more diversity.


Eldar
1) Wargear loadout on Autarchs allow you to take one associated unit type as troops. Oh and a str4 power weapon for christ's sake.
- Just not enough elite slots for what is needed now a days and it seems everyone just ignores Autarchs.
2) Acrobatic on Howling Banshees should allow them to treat wave serpents as assault vehicles/assault ramps.
- Striking scorpions have infiltrate, which is a natural synergy. HB's just are not as effective as they should be and I think this would solve the problem.
3) Fire Prisms purchased in squadrons
- This might be ridiculous now that I think about it.
4) Price reduction on Falcons.
-Dont punish us for a previous releases. Yea it was silly but now...I dont ever dream of taking one of these over costed gun boats.
5) Vypers...
-Back to the drawing board, less points...is a start. Also allow us to put one in with Gaurdian Jetbike squads.

I can think of a lot more, but thats whats jumping out at the moment.

800 brethren and 2,000 other personnel were expected to reach Crows World within no more than 12 hours. They never arrived.

The DE just got one and I really am at a loss for asking for more, but if I wanted to just get greedy:

1) Reavers have 5+ cover save due to speed

2) All units have option for plasma grenades or haywire grenades

3) Blast pistol range is 12" (and can be taken by more units, such as Reavers or Incubi)

4) Distintegrators are at a better compromise: S6 AP2 Heavy 3

5) Lelith has an Agoniser

Imperial Guard

1. Allow any Sargent to take a powerfist
2. Allow any Commissar to take a powerfist
3. Allow Stormtroopers to take 3 special weapons Let Special Weapons Squads take Chimeras as Dedicated Transports
4. Allow Stormtroopers to be able to cast one order on themselves per turn.
5. Make Stormtroopers WS4 Make the Banewolf Turret function like a Hellhound's, but with half the range (6" away).

Rationale for 1 and 2: Gives powerblobs an actual punch (no pun intended), making the combat actually go somewhere.

Rationale for 3: They need it, a lot. Would give Platoon-Based IG more power

Rationale for 4: They're the best troops IG has to offer, and their leaders are generally Commissars-in-training. This would make them much better.

Rationale for 5: Would make them be less suicidal - currently you have to be right in front of the squad, which probably will have some sort of AT weaponry (melta)

Any one of those would make stormtroopers better... all three of them would push Stormtroopers into the overpowered category.

I know the name suggests it, but I don't think stormtroopers are actually meant to be assault troops.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Yeah, good points there. Any one of those would be nice. Actually, drop the 3 special weapons, it's fine with two. Orders on themselves would be awesome.

The three armies I play just need new books, but Chaos is my first addiction so a few ideas for FAQ/new book update.
Make Chaos lords cheaper.
More options for Daemon Prince.
Better chart for possessed and/or lower points cost.
Dreads need a better chart and deepstrike/teleport/summoning.
Marks need to do more then just one thing and/or lower cost.
Marks and/or upgrades to summoned Daemons.
Improved sonic weapons, add them to Havoc options.
Larger sonic weapons for dreads/preds/landraiders.
I mean there are lot of things that could be improved, nothing specific but general ideas.
Marks should a couple of things like khorne could +1A, +1WS, furious charge/counterattack.
Nurgle could be +1T, +1w.
Eldar
Warwalkers and Falcons are FA
Falcons/prisms gain squadron rules
increase range for spirtseer to wraithlord
Orks
burnas for ork boyz
tankbusta bombs for boyz
shoota/bigshoota/rokkit/combis/burna for boyz nob
make ard boyz 0-2 or army wide
lootas are heavy 3 not heavy D3 (also ap 1, melta, rending ok just kidding but it would be awesome for us orks)
better chart for looted wagons, improved range on guns
fearless bikes and make them 15pts a model.
etc,etc,etc,etc,etc
