Yes!

One of the best board wargames ever invented.

It is a great game to use to introduce complete newbies to board wargaming. You give them the Ogre Mk.5. They only need worry about controlling one unit, with one objective, and the game is still pretty well balanced. The defender needs some good luck to win.

Even if the Ogre loses, a newbie player has so much fun blowing stuff up that he enjoys the game anyway.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Seem to recall an OGRE mk.III was a tough enough nut to crack.

Just got into board games more recently. Been playing Runewars, very very good fun, reminded me a lot of good old mighty empires. Roborally, you go in thinking your a normal logical human being that fully grasps the concept of left and right and the thirty mins later this illusion is shattered. Keep drinking when playing and this game only gets more hilarious and chaotic.
Space Alert, very very fun and very very different. Axis Vs Allies 1942. awesome game if you have a spare week and half to play it, not for a sunday eveing something to do type game but truely epic.

Space Hulk has to be the boardgames of boardgames.

I am looking at getting decent.

Anyone played the new Horus Heresy, is it any good?

The games that got me into wargames though were the classic Heroquest and Space Crusade. Still good to play now, shows the quality that they were.

If your going to do something wrong, do it right!!!!

My favourite board game is "Age of Empires III: The Age of Discovery". I wish that the game was actually called something else though and not linked to the computer game series.

I also like "Bang!" but that would be considered a card game really.
