Thinking of Joining a Davinite Loge

Somewhere in the dark...

I'm not sure I'm going to go for the hench spam option - I want to play grey Knights to use Grey Knights.

The most intriguing part to me seems like we'll have the ability to crush our opponents in the first couple of turns - Mordrak and a unit of terminators can accurately deep strike on turn 1. We'll have interceptor squads able to get into the enemies lines on turn one and with the grand strategy, scout move will also be possible!

Im looking forward to a build that can take full advantage of these kinds of things and really put my opponent on the back foot. Obviously, I realise that if it goes wrong, there's the potential to lose by turn two as well but, with some practice and refinement, a first turn initiative grabbing strike at the heart of the enemy could be devastating! A high risk, high reward strategy

Renegade Inquisitor with a Bound Daemon

Tied and gagged in the back of your car

I'll definetly be running an Inquisitor somehow (I have 4 converted, 3 painted, and I'm always looking to make more!), but it'll be a more fluffy composition than a competetive one.

Combine this to the usual "GW" Band Wagoning and we will see hundreds of 20 model armies that cause mass carnage and derision because they can kill everything *REPEAT* everything.

Where is the skill, where is the tactics, where is the Wargaming? Its just roll your LR into the Enemy, Assault out of it, Cane everything insight, roll up a cigarette, smoke it, get in the LR, Move to next unit. BORING, DULL and above all lacking any elan or skill.

A 20 model army will not be very flexible and, thus easy to work out. We may see it at first whilst people build up their armies but it won't last forever because when an opponent with any nous comes up against it, they will figure it out. Personally, the more I think about it, the more I wish I hadn't preordered a TAGK box and just got more PAGK instead. PAGK will be where it's at, Im sure of it because they are basically as good at killing things as the terminators, just a bit more squishy but far more numerous.
