Looking through the article again it seems a fair number of Muslims have taken part in the discussion.
"We can close our eyes and pretend it doesn't exist," said Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, who is Muslim. "You're not going to solve the problem and the problem is increasing exponentially."
It isn't just King, who doesn't like Muslims at all, but also members of the same religion that advocate that there is a problem that needs to be looked into via education of American principles. Whether he's right or not can be debated but there is, coming from the article at least, a significant Islamic participation in the discussion has turned the discussion moderate and rational instead of the hate fueled bigotry that its being made out to be.
