I have used a finishing tackle box for a long time now. I also go with the plastic baggy system placed in the army regiment boxes for gw fantasy. Basically if I buy a battalian, then the bags go in there seperated. That way I can see exactly what I need when I pull them.

I probably should have at some point gone with the cheap bead storage system. They seem more economical, and better with space.

I lol'd. Now I want some Mongolian Beef. Or a Hibachi Grill Japanese restaurant...

When I'm terrorizing Tokyo, smashing stuff, there's a couple great restaurants that I like to eat at. Then I step on them.

Do you have craft stores in Austrialia? Stores that carry beads, fabric and that sort of thing should have the bead and thread cases that many folks have mentioned.

ok... so I trawled through Cairns yesterday.

None of the Hobby/Art/Craft stores had anything that was as specific that I required... However, Howard's Storage World (national chain) had perfect sets of compartmentalised drawers... for $40... so i left them on the shelves.

I then tried Sam's Warehouse http://catalogues.samswarehouse.com.au/adrt/home.html (same company as Crazy Clark's) had the following:

- Pressa Maxi M3 Sterile Clear Storage Drawers (3) - L264mm x W180mm x H220mm - locking system on each drawer to prevent drawers sliding out - $11.99 each... i got 2 for my workbench

I was parked outside Repco Auto Spares and decided since I used their carpark I would try inside... for $23 I found the exact same product that was in Howard's, apart from a different brand... and the Repco option is actually sturdier and doesnt look "cheap".

- Exego 12 Drawer Parts Storage Case - 8 x smaller drawers spaces in 2 layers of 4; 4 x larger drawers spaced in 2 layers of 2, located beneath the smaller drawers.

This will be perfect for either common bits or storing my basing bits.

I left the best for last... BUNNINGS WAREHOUSE... seriously, they have me on a first name basis in this place... whilst I cannot locate the product I bought in store, I can decribe it to you:

- TACTIX Organiser - 31cm x 24cm x 5cm - loackble with a carry handle and removable compartmental dividers. Compartments are arranged into 3 rows of 7, similar to a fishing tackle box. @ $3.99 each I bought 3 for bits storage

- TACTIX Plastic Storage Box organiser - the big brother to the above - 41 x 33 x 6cm - lockable with carry handle and various compartments. However, these are of varying sizes but not adjustable. The bonus here is that the compartments are able to be removed whole from the storage box... great for storing basing materials in and you can remove them for use/refill before simply slotting them back in. @$10.99 each I only have use for one... for now...

#Though I did not see any of these: http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_stanley-pack-n-latch-organiser_2293.aspx?page=9

I will be certain to see if Bunnings have some next time I visit...

NOTE: While on the prowl, I wandered into WorldWide Pawn Brokers and bought 750 .22 steel ball bearings for $14... these I place one per paint pot to act as an agitator. Similar to the rattle in a spray can. Very effective!

During my unfruitful search for web pics of the products that I bought, I stumbled upon the following:

Now, to find local suppliers...

i found a bunch of Bead cases on sale at my local Michaels, so I stocked up on a couple. I figure for my first year, 2 boxes per Army I plan out (thats 4 boxes ) plus one for any random bits from other games (my Kings of War stuff).
