Hordes of fantasy infantry supported by three-story tall steam and magic powered suits of knight armor? Hell yes!

That would be so much win. So much fething win. Make it epic scaled with blocks of infantry being 10mm and then guymelifs that are 35mm tall and you're on your way to awesome.

Axis and Allies. Although Flames of War is, essentially, the same thing, I would like a 40k/ hero scale game.

Hasn't that been don,e both 28mm and spaceships?

I'd quite like to see some Blake's 7 figures, I only know of a few not-federation troopers.

It has been done:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babylon_5_Wars
http://www.agentsofgaming.com/b5w.htm

And harlequin produced a 28mm range which I occasionally see at wargames shows.

http://www.oocities.org/babylon_5_toys/harlequin/index.html

If anyone is interested the Blake's 7 not-federation troops are here for very reasonable amount.

Here are the licensed ones, the Stargate tab is on the left.

I did see some unofficial ones once and preferred them to these because they were chunkier, but I think they had to stop making them.

Uh, actually they did do a large amount of the minis in the style of neither of those influences.

They based most of the original line-up of models off the "Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles", the animated series done by Paul Verhoeven(which actually was pretty dang good, for what it was).

Then, they released two expansions which introduced the 'book' versions(the Power Armour list was pretty danged nice for that matter. If I remember right it was Cougar and Grizzly Power Armour) and the 'movie' versions.
It effectively gave the Mobile Infantry three separate iterations: the movie infantry were the 'Light Infantry', the animated series infantry were 'Medium Infantry' and the book iteration of Power Armour were the 'Heavy Infantry'.

It always saddened me that a large amount of the LI+HI never got released, or at least general release enough that I could have found them and got them in bulk

Hmm, the grizzly isn't bad , can't find pics of the cougar. I thought the marauder was the only power armor they put out.

The Marauder and Chickenhawk were the first two "Exo-Suits" they released, both themed off the Roughnecks.

They were less "Power Armour" and more "Support Weapons".

Harlequin did a pretty good range of them too, the quality was a bit off occasionally though. The Citadel ones were closer to a real 28mm so look quite small by comparison.

Yes, I had boxes of the Citadel Daleks and Cybermen but I can't find them. >:C

Apparently the "real" Daleks have grown a bit over the years to allow larger operators to sit inside them. The new Sony Daleks are definitely larger than previous models.

The kids magazine/comic Doctor Who Adventures did a handful of little plastic daleks in the current iDalek style, they pass very well for 28mm.

There's one painted here.
http://www.warlordgames.co.uk/?page_id=18/show-us-yours/dalek/

I hoped the magazine does these again because they seem a little expensive when they appear on eBay, clearly there are other games trying to pick them up.
