Highlord with a Blackstone Fortress

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

I hate the mace, if the character is worth buying I will replace it from the hilt onwards with a power mace from the Dark Angels sprue.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I'd like the weapon better if it had a known warjack weapon
equivalent, kind of like epic feora's Devout halberd... Except
her weapon was scaled down to fit her.

Looks like Brian Blessed!

Overall I like the model, nice details. But yeah the pose and the mace are a bit off.

actually, if you cut it at the haft, and then add a pole to the bottom, you could make a pretty sweet halberd. Which incidentally would actually work with that pose.

Khador badly needs any kind of jack support they can get. I got into Khador as my first army because of big, bad warjacks and then got right back out of it as I realized that Khador was an infantry army first, foremost, and only.

Yes, Butcher and Karchev both can make an attempt at saying they're jack casters, but the result with both of them is nearly always a linear, one-dimensional brick with . If this new caster can effectively run 3-4 juggernauts with nonlinear threat options, I imagine that'll be nothing but good for the faction overall, especially given the number of competitive warcasters that can completely shut down Khador's movement phase.

Yeah, to bad Khador doesn't have jack casters like Vlad or Karchiev..........

He should come with a line of apprentice Warcasters with their steam-powered armor around their ankles, bent over, shouting "Thank you sir may I have another?!?"

I wouldn't really call Vlad a jack caster. While his feat speeds 'em up rather nicely, it's a once-per-game deal, and apart from that his spell list is a hell of a lot better for troops, especially when he's in his BoK WW-limo super-solo mode.

Karchev on the other hand, is limited pretty much purely to Warjacks, as he won't do a damned thing for troops, ever. I wouldn't call him a one-trick pony myself, as he's got a pretty good amount of ways to deliver jack to face. Harkevich, though, has already been spoiled to have Fortune, so he'll be able to provide at least a bit of infantry support.

It's not a matter of "Well, they already have a jack caster, they don't need more." It's very definitely a rather granular scale, and even if two Casters are at the full-on Jack Buddy end of the spectrum, none of 'em operate the same way. Take a look at Amon and Reznik: Both don't care about their infantry, but their playstyles are entirely different: Reznik will brute-force the hell out of your enemy, but Amon can make his warjacks dance. And really, that's what Harkevitch is offering: A new playstyle. Hell, Fortune alone promises to be nice and game changing for Khador already.

I think it looks alright. Not so much the weapon, but I guess a steampunk mace would be hard to do. Probably throw some spikes on those hole things and it would be a bit better.

Honestly, I'm considering swapping out the upper part of it to make a chainsword. Shouldn't be that hard, and would look a hell of a lot better...

I need the weapon to have a good fluff reason to look like it does.

Maybe it's a shock baton like the ones in Demolition Man.
