I guess the end result is that if you want to make sense of GWs writing, you can't be a Rules Lawyer.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

I swear, this entire fething codex needs to be FAQ'd. Or rewritten. At this point, both would take the same amount of time.

The codex actually makes sense if you try not to think about the rules too much.

the same can be said of Tests in School. my teachers have often said that "you are thinking too hard"

don't overcomplicate it.

That was a benefit I was discussing with a friend of mine(DE player) about the Crucible vs GK codex: the Psyker-henchmen being damaged(but that was without codex in front of me).

I now may or may not have to give him the bad news(hadn't looked to hard at the Psyker-henchmen); oh, the railing he will do.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

pretty darn elaborate for them to make new, and rerelease old, models and print an entire codex.

Quoted for truth.

This works extremely well, especially on the GK codex. For the Matt Ward haters: Just don't try to think more when reading the codex than he did when writing it.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
