How did you paint the halberd's blade?

I have 8 more models almost done. I'll try to finnish them tomorrow if the sun is out.
Will be 5 purifiers and 5 terminators.

The Halberd blades are sprayed white.
Painted with hormagaunt purple watered down.
Then mixed hormagaunt purple with white and water to make the paint transperant and dry slower.
Heres the tricky part... have to be quick and mix next layer
More white into the mix.
Finally pure white mixed with water.
Badad black in layers over the purple.

I am still waiting for my bases to arrive... but I'll post pictures if I am satisfied with them and if I dont get bothered with the unfinnished bases.
