Most definetly worth it... 2 instances in Apoc come to mind.

A Falcon getting charged by a bio-titan, and getting shaken (holo-fields + spirit stones = jaw drop for titan player)

2 Fortuned flat-out holofield + spirit stone Falcon surviving about 6k worth of shooting due to the enemy rolling low for at least one of the D6.

As for Night Spinners and Fire Prisms, get them if you have the points, one the gun is gone... you can still tank shock/ram/contest. A weaponless fast skimmer can still win you games.

5 Dragons 2011: 2nd Overall

Honestly I don't think they are, its an amazing upgrade but there is one big problem, the only platform its good on is the falcon, and I don't think falcons are really worth taking.

Vypers are overcosted and adding a 35 point upgrade really doesn't help matters

Prisms have really long range, and work better in multiples, so adding a 35 point upgrade to them is counter productive because you may as well save a bit more points and add a third one instead.

Falcons are a jack of all trades choice, but as a gunboat they are underwhelming, and as a transport serpents are better and cheaper. So I think it ends up being a moot point.
