Well against light infantry armys i like me some leman russ punisher. as 20 str 5 shots againts orks or nids is brutal.
But on the other hand aggainst well armoured foes i will take a executioner as it it str 8 ap3 or 2 and heavy 3 small blast with pask in both of them its lethal

Having read the rules now (idiot that I am), it would have to be the Godhammer pattern LR. Who dosnt like twin linked lascannons and heavy bolters?!

The next person to call the Phobos pattern Land raider a goddhammer pattern will have their house hit with a deathstrike missile. Godhammer is the pattern of the lascannon, not the tank.

It's overpriced, but the Hammerhead is a great tank. Fast, mobile, nice wargear options, and the rail gun which while not as great as it once was (thanks to so many folks having STR 10 stuff now in some form or another) it's still a great gun.

Maybe not the 'best' tank, but it should rank well as it's main cannon spots killer anti-tank and killer anti-infantry (though why they make you buy the burst cannons and not just up the price for the tank and reduce the upgrade to sms is beyond me..)

IMHO it's one of the few really 'good' Tau units, and has been a great stapple unit in 3rd, 4th, or 5th (i.e. no version has reduced it to the religation pile).

I love my Vanquisher. It just looks/sounds so cool....but it's just too expensive with Pask to make it worthwhile. (And why doesn't it have bloody AP1?!?!?!)

Because if it had AP1, it would be a vindicator.

Demolisher is the best overall tank hunting/anti0infantry tank for its price... but it is one shot and with a range of only 24", if it scatters your fk, they will get melta the next turn.

The best overall anti-infantry and anti-AV11 tank is the executioner with plasma sponsoons and lascan hull. 5 plasma blast and 1 lascannon shot from 36" away will take out any TEQ/MEQ squad. If they got SS, should still take out 2-3 in squad of 5.

Agreed that the exorsist is awesome (though I vote Monolith as well), but it is impossible to glance a monolith to death.
