Well I would think somewhere around 60-70 points at least.

The Assault Squad can receive a 35 point discount from removing their jump packs.

For the Vanguard it would be cheaper than taking 10 JPs and if its too expensive for a 5 man they can always get the jps and have Heroic Intervention.

Psst, Sein, there are no vanguard in the BT codex. Just thought you should know.

Honesty I am personally torn on the idea. On one hand, it would give us Templar players a reason to run our assault marines. On the other, it would effectively split up our effective DPA.

I believe it was brought up earlier, but how about just a special rule that allowed us to basically bring our Pods in all at once?

I personally mentioned the old Lysander rule once before, how about a rule similar to that, allowing us to choose to bring our pods in when one of them rolls in? It would let us not be in the same book as the other DPA armies, but it would allow our army to be more focused.

This change would minimize the desire for assault drop pods as well, since it means we wouldn't trickle onto the field and would be able to better control the field with the pod strategy.
